New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP)

The NB PNP is a provincial immigration program in agreement with the Government of Canada. The program accepts applications under three immigration categories; Skilled workers with family support, Skilled workers with Employer support and the Business Immigration stream. NBPNP selects and nominates, qualified business people and skilled workers from around the world who will live in New Brunswick and contribute to the local economy. 

 

Requirements:

  • You or your spouse are a close relative of the Family Supporter;
  • Be between 22 and 50 years of age;
  • Meet minimum language requirements in English or French;
  • Meet the educational requirements needed to fulfill job duties in intended occupation;
  • Have the funds required to settle in New Brunswick;
  • Have at least two years of continuous full-time work experience in the last five years, in your intended occupation in New Brunswick.

Requirements for Family supporters:

  • Be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident of Canada, residing Full-time in New Brunswick;
  • You are a close relative of the Family Supporter. You, or your spouse or common-law partner may support a non-dependent child, brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchildren.
  • You have been operating a business or have been working in New Brunswick for at leat 12 consecutive months.
  • You are financially self-supporter.

 

Requirements:

  • Be between 22 and 50 years of age;
  • Have a genuine job offer, and the company will be operating for at leat one year.
  • You are a permanent full-time employee of a New Brunswick Company.
  • Meet minimum language requirements in English or French;
  • Meet the educational requirements needed to fulfill job duties in intended occupation;
  • Have the funds required to settle in New Brunswick;
  • Have at least two years of continuous full-time work experience in the last five years, in your intended occupation in New Brunswick.

Requirements for Employers:

  • The job is in an area of skill shortage;

The employer must provide a comparable rate of pay, and the job complies with the New Brunswick employment standards.

Requirements:

  • Be between 22 and 50 years of age;
  • Meet minimum language requirements in English or French;
  • Have, at a minimum, been awarded a high school diploma for education completed after junior/middle school and before college, university and other formal training;
  • Must live, and operate a business in New Brunswick;
  • Have relevant and proven management experience in three of the last five years;
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of the business environment in New Brunswick;
  • Must submit a business plan of economic benefit to New Brunswick;
  • have a personal net worth of at least $300,000 CAD and must have sufficient funds to start the business and provide for the successful settlement and support of dependent family members for up to two years without third party assistance;
  • A minimum of 50 points is required according to criteria on five selection factors (age, language skills, educations, adaptability and business experience).
